Monty Python’s Spamalot - June 12 – 16
The Tony Award-winning Best Musical is a witty and raucous re-telling of the legend of King Arthur, “lovingly ripped off” from the film “Monty Python and the Holy Grail.” A team of brilliant comic actors will wring every laugh from this outrageously silly extravaganza. Get your coconuts ready!
MTWichita Premiere
Rated PG-13
Les Misérables - June 26 – 30
Ever since its debut in London, this has become one of the most beloved musicals in the repertoire. In response to the new film version of this powerful epic, MTWichita has been granted permission to stage a return visit of the triumphantly received stage version we created in 2008, for 7 performances only. Do you hear the people sing?
Rated PG
Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The King and I - July 10 – 14
A summer at Music Theatre would be incomplete without at least one lavish re-mounting of a beloved classic. It’s been more than a decade since we’ve offered this glorious Rodgers and Hammerstein creation. The true story of the clash of wills and cultures between an English schoolteacher and a Siamese monarch is rich with memorable songs like “Hello, Young Lovers,” “We Kiss in a Shadow,” “Getting to Know You,” “Shall We Dance?” and “Something Wonderful.”
Rated G
Betty Blue Eyes - July 24 – 28
From the creators of HONK!, George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, comes this critically praised new musical comedy, based on the droll British film “A Private Function.” Set in 1947 England, when Princess Elizabeth’s forthcoming royal wedding is to be cause for celebratory banquets, a meat-deprived village wages internal subterfuge
to abscond with a prize pig named Betty.

The beloved songs from the film, including “Chim Chim Cheree,” “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious,” “Feed the Birds,” and “A Spoonful of Sugar,” have been expanded and enhanced with new material from Stiles and Drewe (HONK!).
